Titan have bested fnatic 2-0 to claim victory in the Hitbox Arena Championship, and the $1,750 first prize. Both Titan and fnatic came out of groupstage on top with two victories apiece, and went on to defeat, respectively, mousesports (2-1) and TEAMGLOBAL (2-1) in the semi-finals to secure their place in the grand final. The first map, de_inferno, saw neither team able to generate any real momentum in the first-half, resulting in a 7-8 scoreline at half-time. The second-half, however, was a very different story, as Titan stormed their way to a 1-0 lead with a dominant T-side half, winning fnatic's map 16-11.
In the second map, Titan took the first-half as Terrorists on their map of choice, de_mirage, and never really let go. The Swedes fared much better on the T-side as well, but were undone by a solid defence from the French side, led by Kenny "kennyS" Schrub, who finished with 31 kills. Despite a much more even second-half, Titan won out, taking the map 16-13, and the grand final 2-0. Hitbox Arena ChampionshipBest of 2
